Cabbage Tree Island Public School workshop will focus on enhancing health and wellbeing in education by prioritising culture and identity, following our school's displacement from the Northern Rivers floods in 2022. We value the contributions of two community Elders who teach language and culture, fostering a sense of belonging among students and staff. Participants will explore cultural responsiveness, engage with traditional practices, and recognise the importance of community leadership in education.
