About the event
The NATSIPA Te Akatea Conference returns in 2026 with a vibrant theme that celebrates connection, culture and leadership of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander educators and school leavers. Held on Bundjalung Country at Mantra on Salt Beach, Kingscliff, this three-day gathering brings together leaders, educators, policy makers, innovators and emerging voices. Through keynote addresses, workshops, panel discussions and cultural experiences, the conference uplifts Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander excellence in public administration.
